What is universal search?
Universal Search enables 3RM users to search for features and support documentation directly within the app! By using the universal search tool, 3RM is able to take a user-centric approach in user experience for both newcomers and experienced users alike. 3RM’s product has a wide range of features, allowing you to create various workflows and keep track of multiple inboxes. Over time, your sidebar will expand with Smart Lists and new features. But thanks to the universal search feature, easily access any page or dashboard through a quick search.
The search works fairly simply: it asks the server to find records prompted by your query and then displays the results to the user in the commandbar spotlight. The results are clickable and, in the event that you search a contact, open the sidebar to see the full information about the conversation that also can be edited from there.
How to use universal search
You can access the universal search feature by typing “CMD-K” or tapping the Search Bar.
Once open, you can quickly select a series of “open” commands. Alternatively, you can quick search for a specific contact/chat, a feature you need more guidance on, change your settings, and more.
Need more help?
We’re adding new documentation and help docs every day! If something is top of mind that we haven’t setup, please let us know. As time goes on, universal search will evolve the ability to search through notes along with some helpful tours around the platform. A disconnection warning popup is also in the works, to help you to reconnect your account data back with 3RM space.
